Classification of Members

The membership to EPCOZ is defined at two levels that are at Expert Category and Membership Class.

  1. Individual Membership Classification
    1. Honorary Member;
    2. Honorary Fellows;
    3. Fellows;
    4. Companions;
    5. Students;
    6. Technicians;

    Under the Individual Membership Class we have Expert Categories of Environmental Professionals in line with Section 4 Subsection 3 of the General Regulations (1 of 2014) is as follows;

    1. Environmental Scientists: Those who have studied Environmental programs that have a scientific components of Chemistry, Biology or Physics. These analyze a wide variety of environmental problems and potential solutions, including alternative energy systems, pollution control, and natural resource management among other programs.
    2. Environmental Engineers: Those who have studied environmental engineering, technology, energy and other related engineering programs. These use the principles of engineering, soil science, biology, and chemistry to develop solutions to environmental problems.
    3. Ecologists: Those who have studied ecology, biodiversity, wildlife management, biological sciences and related disciplines and are working to solve environmental problems.
    4. Environmentalists: Those who have studied environmental studies and programs that are mainly anchored on Geography and other arts subjects.

    b. Organizational Membership Classification
    1. Environmental Consulting Firms
    2. Training Institutions (colleges, institutes and etc.)
    3. Environmental Associations (clubs, ENGOs and etc.)
    4. Affiliate Organizations (other organizations)
